Want to be a freelancer?

Have you discovered the Rory Peck Trust, yet? The trust was established in 1995 in memory of freelance cameraman Rory Peck, who was killed in Moscow in 1993. The organizers there have assembled a fine list of online resources to help freelancers who, by nature of their work, often have some unique needs.

Freelancers are often operating without limited resources and support. Our goal with this resource section is to provide a path to information on safety, security and professional development that’s both informative and evolving over time. These sections aim to help you prepare for your next assignment, use best practices while in the field and make the most of the work you’ve produced. We’ll continue adding new pages to each section and new sections to this resource, so bookmark our site and be sure to give us feedback about what you’ve found useful and what you’d like to see in the future.

You’ll find even more interesting reading at their homepage.
